2024 Forest Festival
We imagined a day when the Forest became the scene of a great celebration. A day when we walked into a beautiful-beautiful, verdant-green, beautiful Forest and experienced something so magical, unlike anything we had ever experienced before. One by one, we gathered and discovered with amazement how much our souls missed this place - the Forest. Each of us found a place where we were overwhelmed by the stillness, the smell and the sounds of the Forest, a place where time stood still. How, one by one, we found a place of our own, where we were overwhelmed by the silence, the smell and the sounds of the Forest, where time stood still. Then we imagined how people's joy mingled in an atmosphere full of life, laughter, how we warmed up in the biggest and craziest horde and celebrated the great wonder of Nature - the Forest. We wanted each and every one of you to leave the event pleasantly tired, with a rested soul and a heart beating to the rhythm of new inspiration.

2024 Forest Festival
EcoREP team participated in the Forest Festival on Saturday 
, which took place at the presidential residence in Condrița, where he was able to talk to dozens of people about the importance of sorting and recycling waste. We were glad to see so many people who love nature 
and promotes a green and sustainable lifestyle.
The Forest Festival is part of the National Forest Extension and Rehabilitation Program, which foresees the planting and rehabilitation of more than 145 thousand hectares of forests by 2032.
Last year, the Republic of Moldova initiated a historic challenge - the largest-ever afforestation on our territory. The task is to mobilize all of us (central authorities, population, NGOs, business, etc.) over the next 10 years to plant/rehabilitate together more than 150 000 ha of forests. This initiative is called the National Afforestation Program, launched in autumn 2023, and it is important for us because the RM is feeling climate change the most among European countries. It's good to know that the average afforestation in the EU is over 37%, while we are only 11% covered by forests.
